Jus came back from Kukup, went there with my family for a short stay. Its a pretty nice place, get to see and play alot of things that wasn't available in singapore. The people there lead very simple and routine life, no hectic lifestyles, no deadlines, no rush hour..no nothing. However, for city people like myself, a 1-2 night stay would be maximum, cos it can get quite boring after some time. one word of advise thou, dun expect the a nice chalet, we were dumbfounded when we reach the so called "chalet"..haha..but it's quite clean la..jus a bit worn out..

Well...the fun part was that we get to play with firecrackers, it has been banned in singapore for decades.. so other than our parents, it was the first time me and my cousins laid our hands on those stuff. Its VERY exciting and fun to play with those firecrackers. It comes in many different kinds, they have the very loud kind, where its just sound and nothing else, and they have the beautiful type where it will give out dazzling sparkles. They have the lit and throw kind, and they have the lit and it'll fly kind..too many to list all..and its evident from the fact that we spent RM106 buying them. Its quite a sum given the fact that the standard of living is so low in that place.

Its understandable why singapore govt wants to ban them, cos its reallie quite dangerous, especially alot of the firecrackers are explosive, a few of my cousins and my uncle were injured.

Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable and memorable trip, cos it was the 1st time me and my family went to such a place. Usually they would chose to go to places where there's casino, like genting or cruise! I bet no one goes up to genting or go on cruises as frequently as my family does!! oh..btw, they are going AGAIN to both, cruise on the 23-25 dec, and genting from the 26-28 Dec, one after another. but PLEASE believe me, they are NOT compulsive gamblers..jus for fun.

Okie..i digressed.. Anyway, we get to play with stuff we never would have had the chance to if we stayed in singapore & the adults get to re-live their childhood days and we dun have to do the cooking ourselves, as its included in the "package". Its quite a deal, 36 bucks for 1 night stay, 6 meals a day, KTV and Mahjong. What more can we ask for?

NEW GADGETS!!

Collected my free gift from SingNet last sunday, its a ipod nano!! basically its a XXS version of ipod, with storage of 4GB..big memory, small outlook.. its very slick but so damn small..its like if u drop it on the floor..the whole thing will be smashed into pieces..but then again..i've always wanted an ipod, and its free..so no complains..if not i wouldn't bond myself with SingNet for another 3 years.

Have been trying to search for this pink ipod nano leather casing which i saw on the apple's website..but cant seem to find it in simlim..thot they have everything there? mmm..since i cant find it in simlim (where supposedly all IT stuff are sold at cheaper rates) THEREFORE~~~~i'm gonna openly asking for presents (which i've always does on my birthday as my sisters would have gotten used to)... so pple pls pay attention!!! this will be on the top of my christmas wish list..i wan a Belkin Folio Case for iPod nano, PINK in colour.its a double layer leather protection casing for ipod nano which is onli available in ipod shops... retail price as stated on the website is at SGD$36 each..so damn ex i know!!! Therefore its a wish!! hopefully some angels will hear my wish!! heehee

will be away for the weekend, to kukup in malaysia with my family..this time round..almost the WHOLE family is going..bout 20 of us i think..will be spending the nite there..the agenda includes KTV (but have to bring our own karaoke CDs..stoopid), fishing (!!!), star gazing (since there wont be any high rise bldgs around), mahjonging and most impt of all CHEAP SEAFOODS!!!!! hahaha..the last part is fun enuff...hahahaha..

To my ex-students: I'm SO~~~~~~~ Sorrie!!! I know that i've promised u pple that i'll be back on the day of release for ur PSLE....however...something crop up..and i MIGHT not be able to go back on the 24th. I'm doing this event thing for the Asian Television Award which will commence on the 1st of Dec, and i think i'll be pretty busy towards the end of dec..so i am not sure if i can get the time off to go back to Parry. BUT i promise that i will try my best to make time k? So its not confirm..but i have to tell u all in advance..in case u pple say i go back on my words.. ;p

To Tianxin: Haven seen u online for quite sometime so din get the chance to hear of any updates from u personally..but thru ur blog and meiyan..i know that u've booked ur ROM date. CONGRATULATIONS~~~~ MDM MOK!! ( I refuse to address u as mrs yam..cos i think mdm mok suits u more..heez) bout the HDB thingy..no worries k? take ur time to find..go get a property agent..they should be able to help. Have seen ur update on ur fren's wedding as well, guess u would have gained alot of experience this time, would be useful for ur own wedding prep rite? oh yah..heard from ah yan that u MIGHT be pushing ur customary to next year nov instead? wow...very tight schedule to prepare ur wedding then..let me know if u need help k? u know i'll be more than willing to help..jus like wat u did for ur fren's wedding :)

To Ah Yan: know that u had a tough time studying..esp u are the onli one now among us sisters who is still a student..but u've endured the studying period!! if i din remember wrongly..today is ur last paper rite? finally..i dun have to play the stupid MSN game with u anymore..haha..but kudos to ur perseverance!! ..and pls rem tat u are in charge of preparing for the next outing..and pls make it fast!

To Suling: WAT HAPPEN TO UR BLOG??? In the past i was the one who din update..now its ur turn!!..ur that "another gulity convict" have been on the top list for SO~~~~~ long...pls do something..update something on ur business trip maybe..so excited when u told me u are going on a business trip..haha..eh..are u flying off today?

To Sharon: Ever since u moved out of the "mountain", i think our relationship have improved quite significantly..esp now that we go out on lunches and dinners alone quite often, and i am very happy with that :) mmm..i think i should let u know tt u are the 1st person among my frens that makes me feels taken care of..hahaha..when i'm with my other group of frens..i usually play the role that u played in our group. But whenever it comes back to us sisters, i can be assured that "sharon can take care of everything" heez..is this a compliment or burden to u? but anyway..thank u for making me feel this way..it is nice to be taken care of once in a while..:)

well..dun be surprise that i'm doing all this, cos the primarily reason is becos i'm too free..hahaha..thou i'm suppose to be working now..but actually i have been idling for the past 4 hours..jus coming into office and surfing the net...easy money rite..hahaha...so i thot instead of not doing anything meaningful..might as well drop u pple some msg..(if anyone is reading at all). as i say i would be very busy towards the end of dec...so till then..take care everyone!!

okie..updates..bought a new desktop last sat after concluding that its time for my laptop to R.I.P and finally i can hear sound coming out of my computer after 2 years!!
now that the exams are over..all of my tuitions are coming to an end...all the students are in their holiday mood..well..they well deserved the break...
attended a relative's wedding on sat at the Tung Luk restaurant...the food not bad..quite nice..the ambience of the restaurant..erm..passable..not as good as hotel thou..

recently i am addicted to the american hit " Sex and the city"...OMG~~~~ fantastic show..all girls should watch..but its MA15+..so onli those above 15 can watch....the show is hilarious..esp when samatha appears..all the sleazy scenes will come..and i love the shoes that they have..but its damn ex..USD400++..
but wat draws me to the show is thoughts provoking questions that modern women faces..they will reallie make u ponder even after the show is over...and also one can reallie see a culture and lifestyle that is so different from singapore.

mmm..actually it has always been my dream to go to a country that i like..and to stay there for a long period of time..to experience the different lifestyles and cultures..but then again..i think it would be hard for my dream to be realised..anyway..its jus a dream..heez
