ROM...WEDDING..FOOD!!

Had a super busy schedule today..attended my cousin's ROM this morning..then went off with the whole family to a buffet timsum at P.S..reached home at bout 5pm, had a bath and re-do the make up and hair then have to rush off to attend a ex-colleague's wedding at Pan Pacific. whooo...So today is ROM..Food..Wedding..Food..OMG~~~ there goes my diet again.

The wedding was quite nicely done up, the decor and everything. Wat's more impressive is the gowns tat my colleague worn...Very nice and unique..very middle east style for her night gowns and her wedding gown is reallie unique..like a mermaid from behind and a "present" from in front..chim right..haha..

Her husband sang her a song tonite, titled.."lao shu ai da mi" (???!!!) haha..his chinese is super cannot make it..but its admirable that he dares to sing it in public and he actually walked down the asile holding her hand the whole time while singing. Quite sweet and daring..hahaha..spontaneous enuff..after today's dinner, i have more ideas on how to put together a special and meaningful and fun wedding, and of cos..how to bully the bridegroom..SO....sorry jianquan..u will be the white mouse..heez :)

Looking forward to the xmas meet up with the sisters on tuesday..will get my 1st xmas present this year from them. Mmmm..hope to get something i like from the exchange..hahaha..

LIFE~~~ UNPREDICTABLE!!!

Received a very unpleasant surprise yesterday afternoon, a secondary school friend jumped off a 12th storey bldg after quarrelling with his fiancee. He is only 23!! Seems like he is very unhappy with his fiancee's clubbing lifestyle, and after a quarrel, he jumped off the bldg.

Although we are not reallie the close friend type, it is still very depressing to know that a friend whom you thot is still alive and kicking somewhere is gone, and the reason is becos he chose to end his own life! It was reallie the last thing that anyone would wan to know.

Was asking those present at the wake yesterday nite, what could be so serious and unsolveable to have to end his own life? Maybe he did it in a moment of anger, folly..or watever..but is it worth it? Wat bout his parents? 23 years of blood and tears spent in raising a son to this age. His fiancee? Although she is the reason why he committed suicide..but she must be damn gulity and sad, imagine "killing" ur own fiance? I believe she never would have thot that he would chose this path to take revenge on her. His twin brother? They have been each other's mirror for 23 years..from the time they were in the mother's womb until now, and all of a sudden, he is left alone. Haiz~~~~

Was happily discussing tianxin's decision to buy a flat yesterday with the rest of the sisters, and then who knows a few hours later, these kind of thing happened to another group of friends. Wat a contrast!! On one side, they are happily planning to embark on a new phase of their life together, and on the other, he chose to put a stop to his already on track life.
