Just came back from the backstreet boys - never gone concert 2006..IT WAS AWESOME!! haha..dun be surprise..i was and will be their die-hard fan again..it had been years since i last scream, shout, jump & dance like today..and the price that i have to pay..lost of my voice and sore throat! But..its all worth it!! They are still as good as b4..their vocals..their dance..just that Nick Carter is a bit too plump..but nevertheless..as fantastic as b4.. :) AJ is so suave..still the bad boy image..haha
Our initial motive of wanting to go to this concert was just to realise our dream..the one dream that me and my best friends had 10 years ago when we're in secondary school, that of being able to go to the BSB concert. Now that they are finally here after 10 long years of waiting, it seems like we not only realised our dream but the fever and craze for them is back as well!!!
Its amazing how we can still remember the lyrics for almost all of their songs for after such a long time. Well..although we can't recognise the song immediately, but then after them singing the first line, all the lyrics jus flow out of our mouth. It seems like its always in our memory, buried under some unknown compartment.
Can still remember the time when we're in sec 4, when they are going to release their 2nd album, how we rushed over to CD-RAMA to queue for their CDs immediately after school, how we used to spent a hell lot of time & money on the internet and the "Smash Hits" magazines ( FYI, its $7.50 per magazine) jus to get the latest news of the BSB, and how we can only go out after 1.30pm on weekends jus so that we can catch the weekly entertainment programme from Channel 5, E-Buzz which often feature news on the pop groups then. Xiufen used to have a tape full of their MTVs and behind the scenes..it was her life then, she says she still has it...jus that she needs some time to find them..haha...AND i've already dug out all of their albums from my CD racks..it's gonna be my top of the list favourites for the next few weeks..hahaha..
The only regret was that the 4 of us cant go to this concert together, kat was at the opposite end of the indoor stadium and huimei was never their fan..she hates the boy bands..haha..and its seems like only me and xiufen had a good time tonite, cos from our side, i can see that kat was seated most of the time becos the pple that she went with are not fans of BSB..haha..so company matters too when you go for a concert. if she's with us, she would be screaming and shouting right from the start of the concert like the both of us.. too bad..she din ask us if we wanna go when she booked the tickets..
