I MISS BANGKOK!!
Came back from Bangkok after a satisfying, fulfilling, fun-filled 4D3N tour.
It was SOOOOOOOOO much fun, went to alot of new places, saw alot of new things, tried alot of new food & most imptly..BOUGHT ALOT OF NEW STUFF!!!
In total, I've bought:
1. 3 dresses
2. 1 Pair of Shoes
3. 7 Passport holders
4. 4 T-shirts
5. 1 Pair of Jeans
6. 1 Card holder
7. 1 Handphone pouch
8. 1 Luggage (yes, i bought a luggage..Winnie the pooh luggage..wahahaahaa)
9. 12 pcs of Winnie the Pooh mirrors (wholesale)
10. 4 pairs of earrings
11. 6 pairs of slippers
12. 6 Bags, of which 2 belongs to me
13. 1 Bag full of local delights
14. 3 Shawls
15. 3 Bras (wahahaha..wacoal one..so cheap!!!)
The things there are unbelieveably cheap, the transport, the food, the things blar blar blar. Like wat Kijporn said, "live like a king, eat like a queen"...haha. None of us feel like coming back on the last day, its funny considering the fact that some of my friends din actually feel like going last minute.
Thanks to dear Kijporn, we get to go to so many different places and tried so many different food. I miss the food near his place and also the roadside bread..OMG!!! Ya Kun & Thai express is nothing now! Even the roadside stalls are tasty! Yummy~~~~~
Tried the thai massage, it was so relaxing thou it can get quite itchy and painful at certain spot. haha..bt we felt so good after the massage. Went for a big feast after that.
The only game that we tried there was the go-kart in RCA. It went SOOOO fast, and after which, I dun feel anything in my hands. Cos it requires so much strength to navigate the steeling wheel.
We spent a fair equal amount of time in those famous shopping malls, but all of us agreed that The Pletinum Wholesale mall was the best! The things can be sold at wholesale price if you purchase in bulk, which reallie is not difficult at all. haha...Teachers should go there and stock up your "presents" for the students, cos they sell wholesale price for those cute cute stationeries, like winnie the pooh, mickey, chicken little blar blar blar. Those things will cost SGD 6 each in Mini Toons, but they sell like 12 pc for SGD 10. I almost went crazy looking at all the pooh stuff.
We sort of like "wasted" the 1st day cos our flight there was delayed by 1 hour, so by the time we reached Bangkok is already 3 in the afternoon their time, and by the time we clear the custom, get to the hotel is already close to 6pm. Wanted to wait for Kijporn to join us for dinner, BUT....Huimei realise only then that she has taken the wrong luggage. :( So we have to wait in the hotel room, do the coordination with the Hotel pple and the airport lost & found to get back her stuff. Sounds easy, but its reallie difficult given the communication problem. We still get to walk around the streets near our hotel, which is where we had a quick, cheap and tasty dinner. Hahaha..
Chatuchak market was good aso, jus that its so damn packed. feels like a sardine packed in a can, and even thou it rained jus b4 we arrive, it still felt like a oven in there. There are numerals stalls, and is like if you miss this stall, most likely you cannot find it again. haha.. luckily kijporn knows his place well enuff. I sweated like hell in there. thanks to xiufen's reminder, we brought towels along, if not no amount of tissue would be enuff.
Oh yah..and i get a present from kijporn also..a baby elephant plush toy! He wanted to bring me to a winnie the pooh show also, but becos the rest din feel like going, so i din go also..:( thou i very much would love to.. haha
anyway..this trip was so much fun with lots of memories (dun wan to tell wat memory is that here), and the conclusion that we get is, bangkok is a plaec where we'll either go bankrupt or get fat to death. hahah.
In case you would like to know, we are planning to go again this coming Oct. hahaa certainly look forward! Enjoy the photos!
