THE DAY I SAW A DREAM COME TRUE

Saw Mdm Mok's new love nest last Sunday, and as the title suggest, it was the day i witness a dream come true :)

Heaven knows how much time, effort & $$ Mr & Mrs Yam spent on their new love nest. I guess it's all worthwhile after all as they are now the proud owners of a home~~ their home!! I guess it's hard to explain how I felt when Mdm Mok opens the door for us. It was the 1st time I went to a friend's place...a place that truly belongs to them and no one else..and that look on her face when she showed us around..OMG~~~ if that's not happiness..nothing else is I suppose.

Well, the Yam place is one made up of warmth, love & cosiness!! I LOVE their sofa and...shower head (or wadever that thing is called) I think it's so BIG..felt like showering in the rain...hahaa..I like the lightnings also..can create very different ambience. Oh yah..not forgetting their oven..finally found someone who owns a oven good enuff to bake (thou I dun reallie trust Mdm Mok's baking skills) ;p

I certainly am looking forward to paying that home sweet home a visit in the near future..thou..erm..it's quite dangerous & "dark" at certain timing of the day. (if you know what i mean..heehee)

HECTIC & FUN FILLED WEEKEND

HECTIC BUT FUN FILLED WEEKEND
Last saturday was a total insane day for me. I have been to almost all parts of Singapore within the 24 hours

In the morning, went work in Yishun, then rushed down to Bukit Timah in the afternoon to attend a Malay colleague's wedding. After which went down to Douby Ghaut to meet my cousins to buy another cousin's present. Then, we went back to SengKang to wait for another cousin to come fetch us, from which we proceed to Changi to attend the birthday boy's birthday party. Stayed there until 10.30 (without eating the cake!!) then I went back to Douby Ghaut again to meet Rose & Co. for Pirates II.

If anyone is familiar with the MRT routes, I've been to the East, North, West. Lucky enough, I manage to hitch a ride from either my colleague or cousin. If not..the cab fare can kill me.

Anyway, spent some quality time with my cousins at the chalet. Rekindled our childhood memories as our uncle used to take the same chalet. It was one of the less haunted one in Changi..haha..have to find some way to psycho him to go take the chalet again. What's worth mentioning is that...that night was the 1st time in our lifes where we have Mr Marble Seah aka Ah Di aka my beloved god-brother cum cousin serving us food!!! OMG~~ all of us should go buy 4D. haha..too bad we did not manage to take any photos that day..cos he is too busy.

Went to Mdm Mok's new love nest on Sunday. It's SOOOO nicely done up, a cosy love nest for the newly wed couple. I love the decorations, I love the Sofa, I love the lightnings, I love the TV & I love the oven..haha.. I was telling the rest yesterday, it feels so weird cos Mdm Mok has her own house..literally her OWN house, just her husband & her. How nice :) *photos to be put up later*

Arrgghhhh...this stupid cough of mine has been going on for almost 2 weeks. Shit..think i'm suffering from tuberculosis..haha...

Will be having a busy week ahead. Even my weekends are packed.

I'm a busy girl!!!

FAST WEEK

This week passes by in a flash. Was in office for less than a day for the whole week.

Anyway, updates.

Last weekend was the worst weekend of my entire life. Was down with stomach flu/ food poisoning on Thursday, and had to go see doctor in the middle of the night, at 4 AM. Friday was suppose to be June June's 21st birthday celebration at Marina South, and because of this stupid stomach flu, I cant eat anything!! I'm gonna ban the roti prata from Jalan kayu for life!

Worst thing is, on friday night, I was down with fever, cough, flu & sore throat. -.-

Needless to say, saturday was spent feeling miserable with the fever going up to as high as 39 degree. I felt like I'm dying anytime then. In the end, Mummy have to bring me to the doctor on sunday, AGAIN to get medication for my fever.

Then..have to go attend course at MCYS on Tuesday - Friday. Feeling super duper weak from the medication. Dunno what the hell the trainer was saying. Luckily the course ended quite early on all 3 days.

Back in office today, work was piling up!! And the more demoralising thing was..I got to know that another of my colleague is leaving the organization. Haiz~~ I'm someone who's super affected by turnovers, and yet, 2 of my colleagues are leaving within this month. Will have a hard time adjusting. Hopefully no one leaves again.

Was on time off today for the whole afternoon, met up with a secondary school mate whom I've not spoken to/ seen since Sec 2. That's like a whole 10 years. Hahaa..have to thank Friendster for allowing us to "reunite". Anyway, had a nice time catching up with him. Surprisely, there was alot of things that we can chat on, from the schooling times, to his army life, to our working life, to his family.On and all, got to know him more as a person & was amazed by the burden & responsibilities that he had to carry. Suddenly realised, once again, how lucky I am to be born in such a nice family, with such loving & accomodating mummy.
