LAST LESSON

Today marks the official last lesson of my tuitions with my PSLE students. Although it's kinda relieving to know that my mondays & saturdays are free of tuitions now, but it's also quite saddening that I won't get them to see them as often. After all, I've been teaching them for 2 years & our relationship is more than just teacher & students.

I will be bringing them out for a post-PSLE celebration soon to give them credit for their efforts & I REALLY hope that I can get some good news on the 23rd Nov.

MEMORIES REKINDLED

Once upon a time, we get to see each other almost everyday, even on weekends. Once upon a time, we had the luxury of lazing around, doing nothing but gossiping and laughing our heads off at stupid jokes/at Kat's comical action & tortise-like response/at huimei's hilarious way of laughing. Once upon a time, we get to eat with each other, be it recess/lunch/dinner. Once upon a time, we don't have to worry about deadlines, so what it's near exam time? Once upon a time, we had all the time in the world to waste. Once upon a time, our life was simple yet happy. That's however, once a upon a time.

However & finally, last friday, it was memories rekindled. I feel it again :) I feel the bond that belongs to only us. I feel the friendship that is going strong despite so many times of quarrels & misunderstandings. I feel the happiness of having you gers as my best pals for life. Thanks gers for the wonderful night :)

It was a night of great company & great food. Nothing serious was discussed, just some stupid jokes & stupid poses made for photo taking. Nevertheless, it took our mind off some of the unhappy things that's happening in each of our life. For me, it gave me the strength to continue with my life & certainly made me look forward to another of such get together.

Oh, that night was also sort of a pre-celebration (unofficial one) for Ah Ger. I had a pleasant surprise when Kat showed me the present that she made for ah ger before the dinner. I LOVE it so much. I think I would keep it for myself if not for the already written birthday messages for ah ger. It was so thoughtful of her to have taken time and effort to do the present. It's just so sweet. You shall see it for yourself.
