NO SUBJECT

1. Xmas photos are still not ready, all thanks to Ms Cho.

2. This coming weekend is going to be a super happening one - My cousin's wedding!!! It had been ages since our family had such a BIG 喜事. So looking forward to it. Best news is..we get to go with the groom to fetch the bride...YIPPEE!! Sorry la..kaypohness runs in the family =)

3. Going for an interview later with MCYS for the postition of Probations Officer. Actually I have no idea if I wanna take up this job if I'm being offered. Haiz.. But will go there see what they have to offer. I will consider if the pay is good. heehee

4. Met Rose for dinner on Wednesday night and coincidentally Ah Peng gor gor (my cousin) was there as well - alone. So we had dinner together and of cos he paid for everything. Wahahaha..got ourselves a free meal ^.^ He shared with us some interesting observations that he made with regards to differences in behaviors/actions/attitudes b4 and after marriage for both the male & female. He quoted some personal examples and I'm gonna 打小报告 to his wife this sat. Wahahaha..

5. I saw a gay couple on my way home yesterday. Exact location: the bus stop outside AMK interchange. Both are foreign workers, looks like Thai workers. They held hands, interlock fingers and exchanges 深情的眼神 frequently. Actually I quite admire them for their courage to do that. Imagine the crowd at the bus stop at that time and the stares from people. I mean, Singapore isn't really that liberal. That said, I have nothing against gays/lesbians.

6. Travelling plans had been made - but TBC. Tentatively is Krabi+BKK for my b-dae (March), Taiwan (Aug) and Japan for Xmas & New Year(Dec). I am SOOOOO looking forward to the Japan trip. Imagine spending xmas and new year in snowy Japan. Nice~~~ Anyway I have warned my uni mates that I'll burn down the house of whoever backs out last minute. Wahahah..

That's all folks. Till then, take care =)

NEW YEAR EVE'S EVE - 30 DEC 06

*** Photos for Xmas 06 are not ready, so New Year's Celebration shall jump queue***

Date: 30th Dec 06
Time: 3pm - 1am
Venue: Fangmei's place followed by Partyworld

I realised that of the many entries that I have, there had been no mention on my other group of close friends. Okay, not entirely VERY close, but definitely getting closer. Anyway, they are:

1. Fangmei - affectionally known as Ah Mei, a Taiwanese. I was inspired by her to take up Japanese. She's definitely the only person who's able to gossip with me on those J-pop idol. A very sweet looking girl. Very taiwanese + Japanese.

2. Bianca - also known as Mokmok. The funniest, most st.forward and least hypocritical person I've ever known. She has no 2nd thoughts about telling you her utmost desire (like raping someone..hahaha) or about her feelings towards another person. She can joke and can take jokes. She's clever and humourous and...vulgar. Wahahaa..Yes..she can be VERY vulgar.

3. Cixian - affectionally known as Ah Xian. We took alot of modules together and are the only ones in social service lines now. A very petite and gentle girl. Always late for our meet up though. Wahahaha..

4. Bijun - aka Bee-June (pronouced as such). Got to know her better only after graduation. A girl with strong principles and can be quite "manly" at times. But don't be mistaken. She's not lesbian.

Got to know them during my NUS days. Glad that we're still in contact and are making efforts to stay in contact despite our busy schedules. I guess we're a special lot from NUS as we chose to majored in the 冷门 psychology & we make lifelong friends in NUS. As far as I know, none of my other friends are still in contact with their Uni mates. So proud of myself ;)

BACKDATED PHOTOS

Sorry for the delay on the uploading of photos. I am just too lazy and impatient to even start on it. Dun blame me, it takes forever to upload 1 pic. Maybe I should switch to multiply.com instead cos Mdm Mok says that to upload, I only have to drag and drop. How nice~~ ^.^

Anyway, here are the photos for Mei Mei's birthday. Spent the eve and actual day of her birthday with her (both days to KTV). She gave me a shock on the eve but nonetheless I am glad to be around when she needs company (^-^)

We treated her to a dinner at the Meritus Negara. Nice place, nice food. A must-try for carnivores. Never ending flow of meat on your plate and the best thing is, they come right to you. You don't have to walk unless you want appetizers or desserts. Unfortunately, our birthday gal suffers from indisgestion halfway through. Hahaha..Serves you right, who ask you to refuse to move after your butt touches the chair :p

A small hiccup though, we ordered 6 glasses of juices only to realise that we have to pay for it when we asked for the bill (-.-") Guess what? Each glass cost about $8. Do the calculation yourself.

Finally, photos!!

A handmade present from Kat to Mei. So sweet of her ^-^

From the inside. I can't wait to receive mine for my b-dae. Woohoo!!

If you notice, Ah Ger, Mei and myself wore tops of the same colour tone.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy new year my friends!!

Looking back at my resolutions in 2006, I'm proud to say that quite a number of my wishes came true. However, I need to work harder to accomplish those that were overlooked by my guardian angel ^.^

Alot of things happened, good and bad. I've grown alot, emotionally and mentally through the setbacks & disappointments that I experienced but I've also learnt to appreciate the good things that I've encountered in 06. I guess 2006 isn't just another year for me but it's THE year.

However, I'm still not strong enough or should I say I have yet to learn to "heck care". I am still bothered by the fact that my supposedly close friends didn't show that they cared. I am still learning to accept the fact that the kind of friendship in the sitcom "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" did not exist at all. It's all fictional.

I've received well wishes from colleagues, the not-so-close friends, acquaintances and even ex-girlfriends of some of my friends but not my close friends. So we stopped spending time together on festives time and now the well wishes SMSes also stopped. Not that I desperately need them for 07 but I thought that was the least thing that one can show that they cared. There again, disappointment in friends. I didn't send them any SMSes also because I am tired of being the one who cared. So...

Why do people care only when something bad happened or is going to happen? What about the sharing of good things or happiness? If you will only care when bad things happen, then beware! Cos you are lossing me if you haven't already realise. BUT..I have no idea if you would take this as a "bad" thing or a relief.

I wouldn't want to end my 1st entry in 07 with a sad note, so more resolutions for 07!

1. A higher pay job (or pay increment) =)
2. Better & stronger friendships
3. Healthier body for loved ones & myself
4. More holidays with loved ones
5. The special someone to appear soon so that I can stopped harping on the fact that my friends didn't have enough time for me.

Wish me luck!! ^.^
